CHRISTIAN ESSENTIALS WORKSHOP

We are starting a new program this year called Christian Essentials to take a more in depth look at 4 different areas of Christian life.

· The first one will be on Serving.

· This workshop will help you identify the best way to connect with God's purpose for your life by finding your individual strengths.

· We will also seek to equip you with the tools to manage your time and abilities to serve in joyful and meaningful ways.

· Discover the different ways that you can serve God at Abiding Love.

We invite and encourage all of our members, especially those who are recent to

Abiding Love, to join us on Saturday, February 28 from 9:00-11:30am.

We ask that you sign up ahead of time online or on the white board.

GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly for 13 lessons. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief. There are three key parts to your GriefShare experience:

• Video Seminar: Encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts.
• Support Group: Small group discussion about the weekly video content.
• Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.

Starting Lesson 1 on October 13
 
Cost is $20. Scholarships are available. Will run 1.5-2 hours on Monday evenings. Sign up on online at www.abidinglovelutheranchurch.com. Pastor at abidinglove@comcast.net if you are interested or if a different day or time would work better.
