GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly for 13 lessons. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief. There are three key parts to your GriefShare experience:

• Video Seminar: Encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts.
• Support Group: Small group discussion about the weekly video content.
• Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.

The Valley Loop is 4 miles (full route) which is 1-1.5 hours depending on how fast we walk and how many stops we make.
It's about 26 minutes NW of church. Free parking and entry.

Lutheran Pioneers will be moving their meeting to the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays during the summer. We will be meeting at the Lon Hagler Archery Range.

Jeff Guffey is putting together a 9 - hole golf outing for Sunday, June 8. At Olde Course at about 2 pm. Cost is $21 to walk, $34 to ride.

Join the Grand Opening of Willow Bend Park and Natural Area. Loveland's newest park and natural area will officially open to the public on Thursday, June 5. A public grand opening celebration will be held at 3 p.m. with a ribbon cutting
to follow at 3:30 p.m.

As we begin Holy Week, we see Jesus bury humanity’s endless attempts at seizing power. In our world, power dynamics are almost always in play. Those who don’t have power want it, often more than anything else. Those who have power are willing to do anything to keep it. In contrast, Jesus—who  possesses all power as the Son of God—willingly surrendered his power and placed himself in the hands of his enemies. Why? What he wanted more than anything else was not power, but you. So, Jesus begins this Holy Week riding into Jerusalem on a donkey colt,

knowing full well that he was riding to the cross. He would surrender himself to the punishment that our sins deserved, so that through Spirit-wrought faith we might seize the glory and heaven that only he deserves. 

All ladies are invited to Advent by Candlelight. In this season of Advent, we cherish the way King Jesus comes to us in his Word, establishing his reign in our hearts.
